At Dinner a la Card, we are keenly aware of the fact that hunger is an epidemic in our nation. Currently, there are 33 million people, including 13 million children living in households that experience hunger or the risk of hunger. And for those families who are homeless, the statistics are even more dire: Between 20-30% of homeless families go without food for part of every month.
